Inktober 2017 #30

A tenuous link to the theme but I fell in love with this stock image by Chirinstock, that turned up when I searched for ‘found’ because she found the leaves to put in her hair. I went to dark to fast on the background, and I was aiming for more expressive hatching, but overall I am pleased with how it turned out.

Used Platinum Carbon black ink, pental and Derwent water brushes filled with ink washes, a sergent-major no2500 nib that is made by conte in France and a range of paint brushes and my pencil to draw it out with.

Nearly made it! Tomorrow is a really busy day. I hope I can get one cranked out because I really want to finish before November.
